Figuring It All Out

So, there’s a lot that’s been going on in my personal life that I’m working around and working through. But this is not the place to talk about that.

This IS, however, the place to talk about what writing is like and how I’m working on things writing-wise.

Like I stated in my last post I finished the first round of edits and I’ve been needing to figure out where to go from there. Which isn’t an easy thing to figure out for me. The options I have right now boiled down to are:

  • Let the story sit for a little while
  • Read through the story without making ANY marks whatsoever
  • Have someone read through it and give feedback (beta reading)
  • Read through with the goal of writing down notes and such things.

On one hand, I like all of these options. On the other hand, I hate all of these options. So I’m still trying to figure out what I’m going to do next. I can only see what I come up with or what path is going to be the best.

Sorry guys, I know this is a small post, but there’s a lot more on my mind than I thought there would be today. I have a bad feeling this week is going to be full-on chaos which actually kind of hurts, really.

Featured the cover for Stephen King’s The Dark Half because the book is amazing, but it’s also about some split-personality type stuff so I felt it was kind of fitting. Might re-read it this year, actually.
